The Services we Render

OSAA-GBV provides an inclusive Gender-Based support services in order to curb or reduce to the barest minimum violence against any person living within the State, whether at home, in the office or in the public. Whatever your challenges, at OSAA-GBV you will find a support and relief through our dedicated staff. Our services include but not limited to the following:

1. Draw up policies and programmes to ensure the elimination of all forms of sexual and gender-based violence in the State
2. Ensure maximum protection for victims of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence
3. Provide effective remedies for victims including but not limited to medical, shelter, psychological and psychosocial
4. Increase public awareness on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence
5. Provide emergency services as it relates to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence
6. Ensure the prosecution of all Sexual and Gender-Based Violence cases
7. Monitor and evaluate all Gender-Based Violence projects in the State
8. Coordinate and supervise activities for the establishment and operations of the Sexual Assault Referral Centres and shelters for victims of violence
